Week 9

Hello I hope you have had a lovely weekend! We had a lovely Humble Rice Lunch last Wednesday. Thank you for your donations and support. The children were able to experience what it would be like to be in the shoes of a child who'd consider this kind of meal a luxury.
We had some sad news on Friday. A special little girl, Tara Chapman, who was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain, passed away. We had been praying for her over the last couple of months and asking God to be with her during her time of struggle. Please keep her family in your prayers. Her funeral is on Monday at 11am in the church.

Here's what's happening this week.

Week 7

Kia Ora tamariki ma. What a wet wet weekend we had! Good weather to keep my eye rested! You're probably wondering "What is happening with your eye Mrs W?"
It is definitely on the mend. When I saw the eye doctor on Friday he took out the plaster( special contact lens) that was over the scratch and he has advised me that...I take the rest of the year off work!! No no no... I'm just kidding...Lots of drops to stop it from getting dry. I'm hoping this will be the last time I have off work.
Enough about me, here is what's on this week. We will be learning about St Joseph this week as we celebrate St Joseph's Day on Friday.

Wednesday: Kick It ( Please bring in your PE gear) and library.
Friday: St Joseph's Mass. Golden Time: Movie.
Don't forget Home Learning Books and Home Reading is due on Friday too.
