Week 4
Kia Ora kids!
Welcome back to another full week of learning. We have the school's Catholic Review on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a great time to share our learning experiences specifically in the RE programme. It is also a great way of showcasing some of the work we have already done in class.
Cross Country is this Thursday.
Welcome back to another full week of learning. We have the school's Catholic Review on Tuesday and Wednesday. This is a great time to share our learning experiences specifically in the RE programme. It is also a great way of showcasing some of the work we have already done in class.
Cross Country is this Thursday.
We will need parent helpers this week. The cross country is at the Redwoods on Thursday at 1pm. We will need parents to help with transport (leaving school at 12.30 and returning at 2.30) and supervision around the course. If you are able to help, can you please email me.

Tuesday: Catholic Review
Wednesday: Singing Practice, Catholic Review, library
Thursday: Cross Country. Notice for this will come out on Monday.
Friday: Golden Time, Assembly, HOME READING DUE for those children on the programme.

Reading logs
Today mr Macmillan gave the doodle reading log prizes.In our class skyla,cole and Charlotte got them.Good job skyla cole and Charlotte.
Week 3
Hi everyone!'Tis the season of colds and bugs, please please please listen to your children if they are not feeling well and keep them at home. There is a nasty tummy bug going round, make sure you wash your hands before you eat. I will remind children about this this week, they will also need to be reminded at home.
Congratulations to Cole, Charlotte and Skyla who had their names randomly picked out from the reading logs returned to school. Hopefully we had enough logs to win the class award.
Cross Country is next week on Thursday. We have been training very hard for this at school You will see in the notices for more information about that.
Student Led Conferences are also coming up in Week 5. The children will be learning a few simple tips over the next few weeks to help them to be super ready for their presentation.
A notice will come out this week about the middle school trip to Whakarewarewa Thermal Village and the Buried Village. This will take place in Week 7 on Thursday19th June and Friday 20th June.We will need parent helpers to transport small groups to these places. Please check out the notice for more information.

Week 2
Ohayou everyone! I hope you all of you kids were extra kind to mum on Mothers Day. I have decided I wont put too much on the blog tonight, a little mother's day treat for myself! I hope all mums had a wonderful day spending time with their loved ones, or if you're like me having some time away from home dining with friends and then relaxing in the spa!
I have put the Golden Time activities on for this term. Make sure you check them out.
Also the Holiday Reading logs are due back on Wednesday. Please please please could your child return these! We have only had 6 out of 31 return theirs. This is a very low number! Come on Rm 15 lets get some more of those logs returned. If you've lost yours, a piece of refill with the titles of the books will be fine!
RE books went out last Friday. Can you please leave a comment at the end of the Jesus strand. I would like the books returned ASAP as we will be needing our books to put in activities for this term's focus.

Week 1 Term 2
Greetings everybody! I hope you all had a lovely break and are looking forward to a new term of learning.
I spent a few days of my holidays in Auckland attending a conference on google apps and I learnt lots of new tips and tricks that will make your learning more exciting!
There is a survey below that I would like you to fill out as best as you can. This was one of the many exciting tips I learnt from the conference.
Please see the " Parent Notices" Tab for any information about what we will be learning this term.
I am looking forward to seeing you all on the first day. We will start up buddy reading with Rm 7 this week. I am sure I will have plenty of enthusiastic volunteers from our class showing some leadership skills and helping some of our junior kids with their reading.

RE books will be coming home this week. Please go through them with your child and discuss their learning. An opportunity to comment on what they have learned will be available at the end of the strand work.
Tuesday: Resurrection Liturgy at 10am in the church. Rm 15 and Rm 7 are leading the liturgy.

Friday: Golden Time.
